Jimmy Choo’s latest arrivals move beyond the expected crystals, bringing satin, lace, metallic leather, deep merlot bags and sharp eyewear into the mix.
A proper night out does not need one fixed idea of dressing up. Jimmy Choo’s new arrivals move between black satin, flower jewels, wine-dark patent leather, metallic finishes and stronger colour, with enough variation to keep the collection from feeling predictable.
The Skye 70 Zea Flower and Amelia set the tone. Skye is a black satin mule with flower jewels concentrated at the front, while Amelia takes a soft-gold shimmer suede pump and covers it with crystal hotfix. One is darker and more graphic. The other is lighter and more reflective. Both feel made for evening, but neither relies on the same kind of glamour.

The Love Sling Back 85 strips things back. Ivory satin and an 85mm heel give the classic slingback enough formality without adding much else. The pale colour feels cleaner than a standard office pump and avoids tipping too far into bridal territory.
The Sacora 85 takes ivory in a more decorative direction. Floral lace, pearl detail and the sandal shape give it far more detail than the Love Sling Back 85, but nothing feels overcrowded. The two sit well beside each other. One is cleaner and more restrained. The other brings lace and pearls into the picture without relying on crystals.

Sacora 85 Ivory Floral Lace Sandals with Pearl Detail £750
The Cinch Small moves things into black biker leather. Its compact shoulder-bag shape and glossy finish feel much tougher against the pale satin and lace around it. The Scarlett Ballerina brings black lace into a flatter, easier shape, keeping the dressed feel of the Sacora without the heel.
Colour that refuses to behave
The Eyla Sling Back 45 is one of the sharper departures in the edit. Cigar and black spotty elaphe-printed leather gives the slingback far more character than a plain neutral, while the 45mm heel keeps it distinct from the higher evening shoes around it. The print is strong enough on its own, so the rest of the shoe stays relatively simple.
Deep merlot is what gives the Bar Holdall Medium its character. The biker leather and larger shape make it one of the more substantial bags in the edit, while the dark red sets it apart from the usual black. The Curve Crossbody Small takes the opposite route in latte quilted nappa leather, with a lighter colour and much smaller scale.

Heels with different agendas
The Leo 100 keeps things simple in black candy-wrap leather. The sandal shape and 100mm heel already give it enough impact, so there is no need for lace, crystal or extra colour.
The Quinci 95 is much richer. Deep merlot eel-embossed leather meets glossy patent in a pump that immediately feels more distinctive than black. The Isa 95 takes patent in the opposite direction, using latte leather to make the familiar pump feel lighter and cleaner.

Isa 95 Latte Patent Leather Pumps £750
The Brigitte Mule 100 brings black Jimmy Choo lace and satin into an open-heel shape. It is more decorative than the Leo, but still feels sharp rather than overly ornate. The Abby sunglasses then add something completely different with silver geometric frames that cut through all the satin, lace and patent around them.
Merlot after dark
The Bar Hobo Medium takes deep merlot into a much larger shape. Biker leather and suede fringes give the shoulder bag plenty of texture, while the dark red keeps it connected to the rest of the evening edit.
Marais sunglasses come in black and grey oval acetate, giving them a softer shape than Abby’s silver geometric frames. The darker colourway keeps them easy to wear, while the oval frame gives them enough character to stand apart from a standard black pair.

Marais Black and Grey Oval Sunglasses £234
The last word
Lou sunglasses come in milk and grey acetate with a cat-eye frame, giving the eyewear selection a lighter finish than either Abby or Marais. The three pairs are distinct enough in shape and colour to feel properly considered rather than repeated.
The Curve Wallet With Chain brings black quilted biker leather back into the edit in a smaller format, linking neatly with the Cinch Small. The Cinch Medium then takes things in another direction with natural leopard-print pony and a larger shoulder-bag shape. The animal print makes it one of the most distinctive bags in the selection.

Cinch Medium Leopard-Print Pony Shoulder Bag £2,095
Skye’s black satin and flower jewels, Amelia’s soft-gold shimmer and crystal hotfix, and the cleaner satin, lace and patent styles around them all approach evening dressing differently. The strongest pieces are the ones with a clear visual idea, whether that comes from material, colour or one decorative detail.
Quinci stands out in deep merlot eel-embossed leather and patent, while Bon brings saturated lagoon satin into the bags. The Cinch Small, Bar Holdall Medium and Bar Hobo Medium show biker leather at three different scales. The trainer, boot and ballerina widen the edit further. Jimmy Choo’s new arrivals make a convincing case for a proper night out without reducing it to one kind of shoe, bag or finish.
Our View
The joy of this edit is that it does not reduce glamour to one fixed finish. There are flower jewels and crystals for the nights that call for them, but also black suede, ivory satin, deep merlot leather and leopard print.
Quinci is our standout for its deep merlot eel-embossed leather and patent finish. Bon follows with saturated lagoon satin, while Skye and Amelia bring the more decorative side of the collection into focus. Abby, Marais and Lou give the eyewear enough variety to feel considered rather than incidental. Jimmy Choo’s new arrivals work because the evening proposition is broad without becoming unfocused.
Would We Buy It?
We would buy the Quinci 95 first. Deep merlot, eel embossing and patent leather give the pump far more character than a standard black heel. The Bon Bon in lagoon satin would be next for its saturated colour and compact bucket shape.
Of the two Jenn 100 sandals, the gold metallic nappa version is the more striking, while the black suede pair is the easier option. Skye is the most decorative shoe in the edit, and Abby would be our pick from the sunglasses.
