The crystal mesh mule has a lighter presence, despite its extravagant materials. Two crossing, crystal-covered panels meet over the foot, while rhinestones carry on down an 85 mm heel. There is less leather and fewer straps to interrupt the design. Beside the more ornate sandals, it makes the case for a small, brilliantly executed idea rather than a larger accumulation of detail.
