Against that spectacle, the black Devotion calfskin boot is almost austere. Its 105 mm heel and longer line do the heavy lifting, allowing the black leather to define the shape. The contrast with the patchwork boot is especially revealing. Both make an entrance, but one relies on the accumulation of detail and the other on the impact of a single uninterrupted colour.
