Saint Laurent keeps the classic bucket cues but sharpens them. The Le 37 uses a top handle, detachable shoulder strap and Cassandre hook closure, giving the bag a cleaner finish than the traditional drawstring version.\n\nIt works because it feels recognisably Saint Laurent without becoming a logo exercise. The shape is simple enough for day, but the hardware and glossy leather give it enough presence for evening.
