Fine jewellery can become overly reverent when every element is designed to signal importance. Tateossian takes a more engaging route: diamonds, gold and sapphires remain the point, but tactile macramé, graphic forms and intimate details invite a closer look.
This is fine jewellery with more personality, not preciousness stripped of its importance. A dark diamond cube becomes punctuation, a single sapphire gains a softer setting in cord, and rainbow stones move deliberately from one hue to the next. The result feels special without becoming stiff.
