STAUD’s new season is at its best in Tapestry silk, Desert Stripe, Pear and Cielo, with black and espresso keeping the brighter arrivals in focus.
Tapestry Midnight, Tapestry Rose, Desert Stripe, Pear and Cielo recur across STAUD’s new arrivals, moving through silk dresses, tops, shoes and bags. The same colours and prints appear in different forms, which gives the collection a clear visual thread without making everything feel repeated.
Black and espresso give the brighter colours and prints something darker to sit against. The Muse Clutch and Winslow Bag bring in black, while Faye Mule uses Espresso Snake for a richer brown finish. Elsewhere, Tapestry appears in several versions, stripe moves through Desert, Sienna and Cigar, and Pear and Cielo recur across different categories.
Portia Silk Dress in Tapestry Midnight and Charli Silk Dress in Tapestry Midnight establish the print early and give it proper range. Both use the same colourway on different dress shapes, so Tapestry Midnight becomes a recurring part of the collection rather than a single statement. The darker palette gives the print depth without reducing it to black.
Rose and cashew
Athena Silk Dress in Tapestry Rose takes the same print into a warmer colourway than the Midnight dresses. The change is enough to give the pattern a different character while keeping the connection between the pieces clear.
Tapestry in full colour
Rae Silk Dress in Tapestry Rose Multi and Maeva Silk Top in Tapestry Rose Multi extend the tapestry story into a more varied colourway. Using the same print across a dress and a top gives it a clear presence across the collection, while the Maeva offers the pattern in a more versatile separate.

Winslow Bag in Black gives the section a darker counterpoint to Tapestry, Pear, Seafoam and Cielo. Its simple black finish works well beside the brighter colours and printed silk without needing to compete with them.
Stripe with conviction
Desert Stripe appears on both the Fabianne Silk Mini Dress and Olivia Silk Top, carrying the same print across two very different shapes. On the Fabianne, the stripe has more room to define the dress, while the Olivia uses it in a smaller, easier-to-style format. Together they make Desert Stripe feel like a genuine part of the season rather than a one-off print.

Cielo, espresso and sienna
Brigitte Peep Toe Wedge in Cielo takes the blue into a more structured shoe shape than Brigitte Satin Mule in Cashew. The wedge, peep toe and brighter colour give it a stronger presence, while the Cashew mule stays softer in both colour and finish.
Faye Mule in Espresso Snake brings a darker, more textured finish to the shoe selection. The brown snake-effect leather gives it more character than the black accessories without pushing it into the same colour territory as Cielo or Sandrose. Fabianne Silk Top in Sienna Stripe returns to pattern in a warmer, earthier register than Desert Stripe, giving the collection another distinct route through stripe.

Pear is one of the strongest colour stories in the selection. Charli Silk Top in Pear and Lara Silk Dress in Pear carry the shade across two silk pieces, giving it more presence than a single appearance would. The top keeps it light and easy, while the dress gives the colour a larger role.
Mateo Pant in Cigar Stripe takes the print story into trousers, giving the edit a different shape from the silk dresses and tops around it. Cigar Stripe is darker and more grounded than Desert Stripe or Sienna Stripe, which helps it feel distinct rather than like another variation on the same idea.
Our View
STAUD’s strongest idea this season is the way colour and print recur across different pieces without making the collection feel repetitive. Tapestry moves through Midnight, Rose and Rose Multi, while Desert, Sienna and Cigar give stripe three distinct directions. Pear appears on both the Charli Silk Top and Lara Silk Dress, while Cielo runs from the Muse Clutch to the Brigitte Peep Toe Wedge.
The darker pieces give the collection contrast rather than defining it. Muse Clutch in Black, Winslow Bag in Black and Faye Mule in Espresso Snake sit comfortably beside the brighter silk, stripes and named shades. The result is a collection with a clear visual identity that still gives each piece room to feel distinct.
Would We Buy It?
Yes. Portia Silk Dress in Tapestry Midnight would be our first pick. The darker Tapestry colourway gives the print real depth, and the full-length dress gives it enough room to make an impact.
Fabianne Silk Mini Dress in Desert Stripe would come next for the contrast between the shorter shape and the stronger stripe. Lara Silk Dress in Pear is the cleanest colour-led option, while Brigitte Peep Toe Wedge in Cielo is our pick from the shoes.
For a bag, we’d take Muse Clutch in Black. It is the simplest piece in the group, which works well against the stronger prints and colours elsewhere in the edit.
