Spotlight: Strathberry’s New Arrivals & The Sale Pieces We Wouldn’t Leave Behind

by Clutched Editorial Team.

Strathberry Spotlight

We explored Strathberry’s latest arrivals, revisited its best sellers, and searched through the Summer Sale before making our picks. These are the bags we’d genuinely take home.

Some of the links in this article are affiliate links. If you choose to purchase through them, Clutched may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. It helps support our editorial work and allows us to continue producing independent fashion features.

Every opinion in this article is our own. We only recommend pieces we’d genuinely consider buying ourselves.

Every now and then, it’s worth stopping to see what a brand is doing right.

That’s exactly what happened when we sat down with Strathberry’s latest arrivals.

There wasn’t one bag that immediately stole the show. Instead, there were several that made us stop scrolling, open them again, and wonder why we were still thinking about them twenty minutes later.

That’s usually a good sign.

We also spent time going back through Strathberry’s best sellers and current Summer Sale. The result wasn’t a list of the most expensive bags or the biggest discounts. It became something much simpler – the pieces we’d genuinely choose if we were walking into a Strathberry boutique today.

Some are brand new. Others are enjoying a temporary reduction before the Summer Sale comes to an end. Every one of them earned a place here.

New Arrivals We Love

Kite Hobo – Loch Blue Suede – £525

The One We’d Walk Out With

Everyone buys the safe colour first.

We’d buy this instead.

Loch Blue feels fresh without feeling like a passing trend. It’s distinctive, but it never crosses into novelty. Pair it with denim, tailoring or a simple knit and it immediately becomes the part of the outfit your eyes keep coming back to.

If this colour disappears from the collection in a year’s time, we wouldn’t be surprised if people start searching for it second-hand.

Mosaic Bag – Walnut – £495

Best Everyday Luxury

The Mosaic has already earned its place as one of Strathberry’s defining collections, so introducing Walnut was always going to get our attention.

It’s rich without looking heavy and works just as well with a summer linen blazer as it does with an oversized autumn coat. More importantly, it feels like a colour you’ll still enjoy carrying years from now.

If you’re only buying one brown bag this year, we’d start here.

Mosaic Shoulder – Caramel – £455

The Bag That Fits Almost Everything

Some handbags ask you to build an outfit around them.

This isn’t one of them.

The Mosaic Shoulder slips naturally into everyday life. It feels polished enough for dinner, relaxed enough for the weekend and smart enough for work. It’s one of those bags that becomes part of your routine without ever becoming boring.

Sometimes that’s exactly what you want.

Clutched Note

Never buy a bag because it’s on sale.

Buy it because you’d still want it if it wasn’t.

If the price goes back up tomorrow and you’d still be disappointed you missed it, you’ve probably found the right one.

Crescent Moon – Taupe – £455

Most Distinctive

Not every handbag needs straight lines and sharp corners.

The Crescent Moon brings something different to the collection without feeling over-designed. Its curved shape gives it personality, but it’s still easy to imagine reaching for several times a week.

There are bags that photograph well.

Then there are bags you can picture carrying before you’ve even closed the browser.

This falls into the second category.

Mini Tote – Burgundy – £425

Autumn Already Looks Better

Every brand has colours that simply feel right.

For Strathberry, Burgundy is one of them.

There’s something reassuring about this combination of colour and shape. It doesn’t rely on trends or seasonal hype. It simply looks good, and chances are it’ll look just as good next year.

Some purchases don’t need much explaining.

Mosaic Nano – Loch Blue – £425

Small Bag, Big Personality

Small bags often divide opinion.

This one probably won’t.

The Nano keeps everything people already like about the Mosaic family while adding a colour that feels playful without becoming difficult to wear.

If your wardrobe leans towards neutral tones, this is exactly the sort of piece that adds interest without demanding attention.

Before You Leave The Sale Behind…

There are sale sections…

…and then there are bags you’d happily recommend even if they were full price.

We found several.

Mini Tote – Oat – £268.20

If someone asked us where to start with Strathberry, this would probably be one of the first bags we’d mention.

The Mini Tote has become one of the brand’s signatures for a reason. Oat keeps everything clean, versatile and incredibly easy to style throughout the year.

Some bags earn the title of “safe choice.”

This one earns the title of “smart choice.”

Crescent Moon – Black – £266.40

If Taupe caught our attention, Black reminded us why some classics never need reinventing.

The shape does all the talking. The colour simply lets it.

This feels like one of those purchases you’ll never regret making.

Kite Tote – Taupe – £375.30

Best Work Bag

Finding a work bag that feels practical without looking overly corporate isn’t always easy.

The Kite Tote gets remarkably close.

It has enough presence to feel special, but never looks like it’s trying too hard. It’s the sort of bag that will probably spend more time on your shoulder than in your wardrobe.

Lana Hobo – Espresso – £287.10

This might be one of the easiest bags in the sale to overlook.

That would be a mistake.

Espresso gives the Lana Hobo warmth without making it feel seasonal, and the relaxed shape means it’ll only get better the more it’s used.

Some bags improve with age.

This feels like one of them.

Mosaic Nano – Vanilla – £325.80

If you’re buying your first Strathberry, we’d struggle to argue against this.

It’s recognisably Strathberry.

It’s easy to style.

And it offers everything that has made the Mosaic collection one of the brand’s biggest successes.

Sometimes the obvious choice is obvious for a reason.

Charlotte Drawstring – Chocolate Suede – £205.20

Every article needs one surprise.

This is ours.

It wasn’t the first bag we clicked on, but it became one of the hardest to forget. The combination of suede and the relaxed drawstring design gives it a softer personality than many structured handbags.

If your collection already covers the classics, this is the one we’d be tempted to add next.

Clutched Note

Before buying the newest release from any brand, spend five minutes looking at its best sellers.

If the same collections keep appearing year after year, there’s usually a reason.

That’s where lasting design begins.

Why These Bags Matter

After spending time comparing the new arrivals with Strathberry’s best sellers, one thing became obvious.

The brand isn’t trying to reinvent itself every season.

Instead, it’s building on collections people already trust.

The Mosaic continues to define Strathberry’s modern identity. The Mini Tote remains one of the easiest recommendations for first-time buyers. The Kite family is growing into one of the brand’s strongest everyday collections, while designs like the Crescent Moon prove there’s still room for personality without sacrificing practicality.

That’s probably why these collections keep returning.

When something works, you don’t replace it.

You make it better.

Editor’s Choice

Choosing one winner wasn’t easy.

But every time we finished looking through the collection, we found ourselves coming back to the same bag.

Not because it’s the boldest.

Not because it’s the newest.

Because it feels different.

It’s the sort of handbag that catches your attention for all the right reasons, then keeps rewarding you every time you carry it.

If we were walking into a Strathberry boutique today and leaving with just one bag…

This would be it.

Would We Buy It?

Absolutely.

Not because every bag is perfect, and not because every new arrival deserves a place in your wardrobe.

We’d buy it because Strathberry knows what it’s good at and doesn’t feel the need to reinvent itself every few months. Instead, it keeps refining the collections people already love, introducing new colours, textures and finishes that give familiar designs a fresh reason to be noticed.

The Summer Sale only makes that decision a little easier. A few of the bags we picked would still have made this article at full price. Seeing them reduced simply makes them harder to ignore.

If we had one visit to a Strathberry boutique and could leave with just a handful of bags, these are the ones we’d choose.

Some would become everyday favourites.

One or two would probably surprise us.

And one – the Kite Hobo in Loch Blue Suede – would almost certainly leave the boutique on our shoulder.

That’s the difference between a bag you admire…

…and one you can’t stop thinking about.
