Capucine makes the point at the throat. Its fitted upcycled-wool jacket has a stand collar finished with a self-tie scarf, short puff sleeves, princess seams and fabric-covered buttons. The matching mini skirt is high-waisted and clean, leaving the scarf to do much of the expressive work. The scarf is not an extra flourish pasted onto a familiar jacket. It changes how the front closes and how the neck is framed. A lapel would make the reference more conventional. An open collar would lighten it. The tied scarf gives the upper half movement, which is enough to change the feeling of the set without disturbing the match.
